Allosaurus is a genus of large theropod dinosaur that lived ~155-150 million years ago during the late Jurassic period (Kimmeridgian to early Tithonian). A. europaeus is a European species found in Portugal, and was described in 2006. It was featured in the documentary Dinosaur Revolution.
